Big Batch Spicy Margaritas

A Pitcher for 8, No Muddling

10 min 8 servingEasy
Big Batch Spicy Margaritas

Spicy margaritas for a crowd without muddling a single pepper. One measured pour of Margaheata® Swicy Syrup seasons the whole pitcher evenly, so the first glass and the last glass carry exactly the same heat. Make it ahead, pour over ice, host your own party. Ingredients

  • 16 oz blanco tequila
  • 8 oz fresh lime juice (about 8 limes)
  • 2 oz Margaheata® Swicy Syrup (1/4 oz per serving)
  • 4 oz agave nectar or simple syrup
  • Ice, for serving
  • Lime wheels and salt rims (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1Add tequila, fresh lime juice, Margaheata® Swicy Syrup, and agave nectar to a large pitcher.
  2. 2Stir well for 15-20 seconds.
  3. 3Refrigerate until party time (it holds beautifully for up to 4 hours; the heat stays exactly where you set it).
  4. 4To serve, salt-rim rocks glasses if desired and fill with fresh ice.
  5. 5Stir the pitcher once, pour, and garnish with lime wheels.

Pro Tip

This is where a measured syrup beats muddling forever: 1/4 oz per serving scales linearly, so 8 servings = 2 oz, no guessing, no pepper roulette across the pitcher. Sweet crowd? Sugar mutes heat, so bump to 4 oz (two "Swi-cy" squeezes per serving) and the pitcher keeps up.
