Reviews and Testimonials

We're solving real pain points for bars and restaurants today.

We were slammed on a recent Friday night, and our manager was helping out the bar. A guest ordered a skinny spicy margarita. Our manager grabbed a sample bottle of Margaheata® we had behind the bar, added a quarter ounce to the build, and served it to the guest, who LOVED it. Now every time she returns, she asks our manager to make her favorite drink. This experience opened my eyes to how Margaheata® makes skinny spicy margs easy, while nailing guest expectations every time. We didn't change our recipe, didn't need to muddle anything, and didn't delay service. One pour from one bottle turned our guest into a loyal fan.

Don’t take our word for it.

The consistency problem is the industry’s worst-kept secret. Here’s how bartenders describe making spicy drinks the old way:

Muddling peppers can be extremely inconsistent and slows down the very busy bartenders

Beau du Bois, VP of Bar & Spirits, Puesto (VinePair)

Chilis are so tricky. These things are plants and their spice level changes from pepper to pepper and from season to season

Ivy Mix, Co-owner, Whoopsie Daisy; co-founder, Speed Rack (VinePair)

Heat levels of ingredients like peppers can swing wildly even across the same plant

Jack Schramm, PUNCH, "Bring the Heat" (PUNCH)

The Spicy Margarita is a notoriously difficult cocktail to perfect, which is why I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with it.

Elle Bley, Beverage Manager, Libertee Grounds (VinePair)

They’re right. Fresh peppers are a gamble, and infusions keep getting hotter. That is exactly the problem a measured pour of swicy syrup was built to end: 1/4 oz is 1/4 oz, on every ticket, on every shift.

Every method used to make spicy drinks has a tradeoff.

Margaheata® doesn't.

Here's what bars use today, what goes wrong, and how we solve it.

Muddling / Housemade Syrup

Fresh jalapeño coins, house batch

Inconsistent heat, high labor, burns hands, 1–2 week shelf life, prep waste.

Same sweet heat every pour. 2 seconds. 2-year shelf life.

Chili Liqueurs / Infused Tequila

Ancho Reyes, house infusions

Adds alcohol. Can’t adjust heat without adjusting ABV. Kills the mocktail menu.

0% ABV. Works on both sides of the menu.

Capsaicin Extracts / Bulk Syrups

Monin, Torani, tinctures, spicy bitters

Pure burn, zero fresh pepper flavor. Some have no real peppers at all. Tinctures and spicy bitters are 35–45% ABV, and a dash is 6–10 drops that varies by bottle.

You taste the pepper, not just the burn. Hand-selected fresh serranos, habaneros, and jalapeños. 1/4 oz is 1/4 oz, every pour.

Hot Honey

Mike’s, Savannah Bee

Dried chilis lose bright, fresh pepper flavor. Vinegar fights your lime. Honey thickens in cold drinks. 70 calories per tablespoon.

Fresh peppers, citric acid (not vinegar), instantly mixable at any temperature. Just 10 calories per serving.

Hot Sauce

Tabasco, Cholula, Sriracha

Vinegar-forward, fermented, designed for food. Wrecks cocktail balance.

Purpose-built for cocktails. Clean, bright sweet heat that complements, not competes.

High-Volume Questions, Answered

How do bars keep a spicy margarita consistent?

By taking the variable out of the build. Fresh pepper heat swings pepper to pepper, and a house infusion keeps getting hotter the longer the peppers sit in it, so high-volume programs standardize on a measured modifier instead: 1/4 oz of Margaheata® Swicy Syrup is the same 1/4 oz on every ticket, every shift, every location. Set the spec once and the drink is consistent forever.

What is the fastest way to make spicy margaritas at high volume?

A 1-second pour. Margaheata® replaces slicing, seeding, and muddling with one 1/4 oz squeeze, so a spicy margarita takes exactly as long as a regular one. During a rush, that is the difference between keeping up and cutting the spicy drinks loose.

What does Margaheata® cost per drink?

At the standard 1/4 oz serving, the 8 oz bottle pours 32 drinks and the 64 oz bottle pours 256. At retail pricing that works out to roughly $0.50-0.60 per drink, before wholesale pricing. Against menu prices for spicy cocktails, the heat is one of the cheapest ingredients in the glass. Contact us for wholesale and case pricing.

Spicy margaritas, palomas, mules, mocktails, and more. Standard pour: ¼ oz per drink (adjust to taste). Works with tequila, mezcal, vodka, rum, gin, whiskey, and non-alcoholic spirits.

Pour trick: ¼ oz = a 1-second squeeze straight from the bottle. Say “Swi-cy” (two syllables, about one second) as you pour.
